Pattern of UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam

Chronological order

This is another style of question in which various events from history are presented. Ther are four optins which have these events arranged in different order and you have to tick the option which arranges these options in correct chronological order i.e, first event first, second event second third event third and the last event last in the order they occured. The questions could be about arranging the various battles and wars or the construction of historical monuments or the various movements that took place during the course of history/Indian National Movement or the various dynasties that ruled in India or the the various rulers of a particular dynasty or the or the foreign travellers that visited India in ancient India or the various commisssions that visited India during the Indian National Movement. Again, the list is endless. It is only by practise you will be comfortable with such type of questions. The following questions will give you a feel of it: 1.
